Bus Info

Bus Transportation:
Because the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon and Half Marathon is a point-to-point course, bus transportation will be provided from downtown Albany (near the finish line area) to the start of the races. Buses are FREE to participants, but you must reserve a spot. Reservations can be made when you register for the race. There is a bus back to the start lines from the finish area. The bus back to Central Park in Schenectady (the marathon start) leaves at 2:30 p.m.  The bus back to Colonie Town Park in Cohoes (the half marathon start) leaves at 12:30 p.m.  No reservation is necessary. 

Parking is extremely limited at Colonie Town Park. Runners are encouraged to use the bus from downtown Albany, if possible.

Parking in Albany for Bus Pick Up:
Public parking is available at the Columbia Street Garage. This lot is very close to the finish line. Click here for finish line parking directions

If parking in Colonie Town Park, please arrive early. There is no parking on Schermerhorn Road. Those parked illegally will be ticketed and towed!

Participants are encouraged to car pool or use the free buses from Albany.
